After graduating from medical school in 1995, I completed my Internal Medicine Residency training in Chicago and Hematology/Oncology training at Michigan State University. I had my fair share of snow, so I decided to head down south. Since then I have been serving patients with blood and cancer disorders in Central Arkansas.
Over the last few years, I have started drinking sweet tea and developed a little southern drawl. I am married and have three boys; with the third one coming after 10 years…I guess, in His infinite wisdom, there is a right time for everything!!
Cancer hit close to my heart when I was just 15 years old, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer. From that moment, it’s been my personal journey and mission to win this fight. For those diagnosed with cancer, know that your journey has just started. We cannot let this ugly disease take over our lives.
